Kind of depends what flavor of "Christian" you are talking about. Overall, I've not had good experiences with any fundamentalists. I'd MUCH rather deal with Mormons, whom most fundamentalists don't consider to be Christians--but overall Mormons place a very high value on treating "heathens" honestly.
Our Hindu friend is honest, kind, caring, as are our couple of Muslim friends and Jewish friends--all of whom are friends as well as colleagues.
In fact, the most dishonest, untrustworthy, arrogant, cowardly people I know personally are my parents and two brothers and their wives--all of whom consider themselves fine, devout Christians. One brother is even a pastor!
The term "Christian" refers to someone who holds a set of religious beliefs. It does NOT necessarily define a person as someone of "good" character. "Christian" is mostly objective; "good" is highly subjective.
Yes, I am VERY irritated at this remark and consider it an affront to the non-Christians I know.
