Who is Bob Chapman and why is he saying such bad things? I'm not an economist, and from the sounds of it, either is he. Dr Al did not create the cyclical economy.

Booms and busts don't just happen they are engineered by central banks. They are not normal.

That statement immediately invalidates everything else he says. I'm going outside to play so I won't go through a verse by verse rebuttal.

While the market is down and will probably go a little more, we are not going into the next great depression. Get over it. Extremist views, happy or sad, help nobody. Use your own eyes and don't rely on gurus of doom or Abby Cohen. IMHO we are due for a couple of more plunges, but we WILL recover. Our open economy make the US corrections relatively short but violent, and this is no different. In other words, be real careful about what you are shorting. Those dern Feds, and the market overall, are very good at doing what everybody leasts expects.

Mahalo! It ain't all bad! Lot's of used BMW's for sale CHEAP!
