You have to wonder when you see things like guitars selling used for 33% more than you could purchase one new.

How do these places make any money? Whenever I, occasionally, check some of the local shops I see the same tired old keyboards sitting there that were there last time I visited - maybe a year ago.

Are some of these places really fronts for something else? ...or am I just missing something? Their advertising and signs sream that they want to buy our silver and gold, but are they really going to give me the "highest prices"?

Maybe someone out there with more experience dealing with these guys can offer some perspective.
