Just a friendly reminder, we are facing the 'fiscal cliff' and 'taxmaggeon' because of a bi-partisan compromise between Obama and the House Republicans, which basically said "let's push off all serious discussions until after the election". Why do you think the next compromise would be a good one?

Don't get me wrong compromise can be a good thing, when the end result is a good deal. But hasn't history shown us that when both sides compromise we can also get a bad deal as well? Just because Obama and Boehner reach a compromise doesn't mean it's a good one.

Heck, I'm willing to bet that the deal Obama and Boehner reach will push the tough decisions down the road another 2 years until after the next mid-term elections.
