Why does said person have to prove anything?I suppose no one is required to prove anything. We can just agree to disagree. However, if the person making the positive assertion is thinking it's up to the person making the negative assertion to render the proof, that is incorrect.Access to knowledge isn't limited exclusively to the scientific method. This would require a lot of clarification before I could either agree or disagree. The scientific method is the most powerful means of acquiring knowledge ever devised. And the most reliable. Everything else is subject to fallacy. In addition God certainly has the right to exist without proving anything to you or to anyone else. Would you not agree? That could be said of anything that actually exists. The residents of Beta Carinae (if any) have a right to exist without proving anything to me. But if they expect me to accept that they DO exist they're gonna have to show themselves in an unambiguous, verifiable way.1poorguy
