Why is divorce so expensive?

Because it's worth it....RS ;)

Seven years later, divorce looks like a great investment for me.

I lost: A BSC ex-wife, constant turmoil, an environment that was raising a disfunctional child to become a disfunctional adult, and unpredictable but certainly high needless spending on crap that degraded my standard of living.

I gained: The ability to control my own life, the ability to improve my own environment, a good relationship with a daughter who is turning into a functional adult, and a predictable flow of money (in the form of alimony) to the great money sink. As it turns out, the alimony is less than the random spending that my BSC ex did.

Yeah, I had to pay for 150% of the house I live it. It was worth every penny.
