Why? Not the expected excellence in healthcare delivery, but the fact that everyone who works there is an employee. Period. No gotchas with out of network anythings. We were in a plan like that up until this past month. It was awesome. $25 copay per office visit. No followup bills unless additional testing/labs/etc was needed. Totally focused on keeping you healthy vs. treating you after you were sick.Last month we were switched by our employer to BCBS PPO. The clinic where we'd been customers for 20+ years assured us that nothing would change. My duaghter went in for a general checkup and a yearly prescription. They told her the visit was $30 (amount of new copay). Yesterday I got a bill for $153. Yeah, loving the new plan...LWW
