Why stop showing a home prior to any particular offerror's contingencies clearing, and earnest money going hard?On the home I bought, my realtor and I put in the contract "seller will stop marketing the property and update the listing to 'under contract'", since the seller (it was a relocation company) originally had wording that they would keep marketing the property until closing.
