On the Middle East Politics board, Mark (mitamuna) posted a link to a story about Arabs sending little girls to try and provoke a violent reaction from Israeli soldiers: http://boards.fool.com/more-child-abuse-move-along-nothing-t...
There's video of the incident here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ax-Jk2iJL0k
At the 4:58 point in that video, we see a brief exchange between an IDF soldier and a man with a camera. This link goes directly to that point in the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ax-Jk2iJL0k&t=4m58s
I couldn't make out all the words, but here's my transcription:
Soldier: Why don’t you have (unintelligible)? Man: Because its French card and I don’t have [it] with me. Soldier: (unintelligible). You are under arrest.
Can anyone here fill in the blanks and tell me what the soldier said? I expect he was asking for press credentials, but I can't make out the words.
(And even if that's the case, why was he arrested? Is it a crime for foreigners to take photos of the IDF in the territories?)
