Wild pigs have way more flavor than commercially raise pork. Like I've said, they feed commercial hogs now with designer diets designed by computers with least cost feed formulation. They are kept in sterile specific pathogen free housing with no access to dirt or grass or nuts or any of the normal things that pigs used to eat. They are kept up off the ground on slatted floors where the feces and urine fall through and it is flushed like every thirty minutes or so and that is why the pork in the grocery store is so uniformly mild and soft.
