Wildcat, The Recommended Reading List in this post http://boards.fool.com/Message.asp?mid=14901092 will give you lots of great ideas. The Wealthy Barber is a wonderful place to start. David Bach's book Smart Women Finish Rich was thought provoking, especially when you're starting from scratch. Of the many books I read this winter, Suze Orman was among the least impressive. Still, a book in hand is better than nothing. I'd start in the library to see what they have available, then browse a large bookstore. Find something that has what you consider a readable style and then don't stop there. You'll be a Fool in no time.Pyrola
