Are there other negatives or things I should take into consideration before going ahead with this?

If your credit is generally good, I'd say take advantage of any offer you can.

Also, this may not be a consideration for you, but:
a) depending on how far along you are in your car payments, this may reduce your monthly minimums

b) I think that you would be moving from a secured (car) loan to an unsecured, which is generally a good thing in the event of catastrophe (I suspect the car people could come take the car if you were in default, while the CC couldn't).
