Hello folks. May I ask some of you gnarled veterans of the investing world for some advice ? What would you do if you suddenly came into 300K ? How much where and why (asset allocation) ? Would you DCA in or just plop it all down in the funds or stocks ? Tax implications ? What kind of funds ? My personal preference for risk is moderate to high. 48 year old with no bills,(save a small house payment) and 4 years from retirement.
What would YOU do ?
PS.......currently I own individual stocks, a VTSMX fund 401K in large cap funds and a VMMXX money market
Thank you for any assistance and regards.... jc
PSS.....I posted this same question on another board before finding this appropriate board.
