With those years, you still dont have a CLU designation. I wonder why? I also find it interesting that someone like yourself seems to be okay with putting garbage in front of a client and then later on saying they chose it. No you didnt put a gun to their head nor force it down their throat but you pretended that with your years of experience that this would be a wise move. You seem to know better. The client of course doesnt understand that you dont have a fiduciary role but in fact work on behalf of yourself and the insurance company. They trust you to do what is best for them since it takes a long time to understand these products. Readers should understand that agents are not required to be fiduciary. As you have alluded to, you have had complaints against you. Im sure you dont find them warranted and im sure the client was unable to provide appropriate documentation since you are smart enough to avoid that. The point remains how does one even present garbage to a client since these are policies always sold instead of purchased. Shouldnt you always present the best ideas? With that number of permanent policies you have sold, why arent you saying this isnt a wise move since many of those people cant possible have a need for a permanent death benefit? I dont need glasses, i have seen perfectly here. I know why you say here is my 2 cents however that is more than what that advice was worth.
