Without exception, every single parent who has ever posted this board has said the same thing. Sometimes it seems like (ahem)they come here specifically to start a conversation in which they can mention that *their* kid is great

Actually, my oldest kid (3years old) is a demon child. When I take him to the local Steakhouse on Friday nights we always seem to be the center of attention. I'm really not sure why. Maybe he's just a little tired....... who knows. Maybe if there was a law passed making it mandatory that every restaraunt have a play area (in addition to reserved parking for parents and pregnant women) things might be a little easier for me. Ya know I'm just trying to eat my food right? I can't keep track of the little rug rat all the time....

My child refuses to listen to me or his mom, but he is so precious when he pouts (and screams NO!). I think most of the patrons think so too cause they always stare at him. Speaking of staring...... It was so funny when my wife changed his diaper at the table we were seated at. I mean what's a matter with people; they act like they've never seen a poo poo covered toddlers bottom. It is truly a beautiful thing. Aren't we fortunate to live in this day and age when disposable diapers are so cheap and easily available. We just put it on the empty table next to us and the waiter removed it before the next childless couple were seated. We didn't miss a beat eating our supper.

Now, I can understand the stares when my wife breast feeds little Mikie, I mean him being 3 and all. Yeah, he's a bit old but we have read that is healthy for the child and again.... one of the most beautiful things in this world. You wouldn't begrudge a mom and son bonding would you?

I wish I could go on and on about our precious little mikie..... but I don't remember much. After about 5 Jack and cokes I didn't really pay attention to what happened...... but I had a great night out with my wife. Maybe ya'll should lighten up a bit and pop a few kids, maybe you could enjoy life a little more.

You should see the little b****rd run around at the grocery store..... but that's a tale for another time.

;^)
