Two NY women have begun a blog where bankers' female partners can bare their hearts and souls with each other. The blog is described as..."a safe place where women can come together and share tearful tales of how the mortgage meltdown has affected their relationships." Consumers have reined in spending. About 1 mortgage in 10 is under foreclosure. Over 500,000 lost jobs recently. We all know how horrible it is out there, so....what pain and indignities have the GFs and DWs of these bankers suffered?

One blogger's entitlements took a most unfortunate hit...Kleenex recommended before proceeding:

"The sitter's hours are cut, both the family and my private credit card are cut in half, and I'm switching from having facials and massages in my yoga-and-wine serving downtown spa to a midtown, been-in-business-forever place with ladies in cubbies wearing pink jackets and lots of makeup giving facials only..."

Other blogged examples included clothing allowances cut in half, personal trainers ditched, and sex lives in the toilet. For the sake of contrast...

...An hour ago, I was behind a young woman at Walgreens pharmacy. She gazed at the price for several seconds and used her coat sleeve to wipe her eyes. "Maybe I can afford this next month." She left in a hurry with her head down.

Probably late for her facial....
