Sorry your ex is so- how can I say it nice, inflexible?! I really give you alot of credit for putting your daughter first, obviously she doesn't.

I can really relate to alot of this divorce custody stuff. We pay over $1000 per month and carry health insurance on two kids that can't even call thier dad on Father's day! And I have an ex who has skipped out on his support, so I have a good understanding of both sides. Good luck!
