Wolfie,I hope i can pick your brain for a moment. My oldest son is a really great kid, just turned 28, got his B.A. in nursing 4 years ago, managed a Chipotles for a number of years, but.......4 years ago he got a D.U.I., and it was just a stupid thing on his part. And the reason he spent the last 4 years not pursing his career. hard to get a job in health care with a d.u.i. on your record.I was helping him with his resume, and interviewing and the job search in general. It was going pretty good but when he came over one day i could smell the alcohol on his breath (and he drove to the house).I confided in my wife and she, for some unknown reason, told my son i thought he had a problem with alcohol.. You can imagine he wasnt happy with me. Especially since I've been his biggest fan since he was born.Long story short, i confronted him about drinking and didnt pull any punches. I wasnt accusatory, i was very matter of fact. We went back and forth for quite some time, even had to dive into my drug usage back in the day, and he finally admitted he thought it was a problem for him. I'm not sure if i need to follow up with him on this, leave it be or what. He's not a drunk, but i have friends that werent drunks at that age, but became that way in later years. And that scares me..Have any advice?
