Woo hoo! REALLY fresh corn on the cob? Sounds good!

Like you cannot imagine.

My best friend lives adjacent to a big field that the owner uses to plant corn every year, and then he plows it all under. Apparently, he does this so that the land gets taxed at the cheaper agriculture rate. Anyhow, he lets the neighbors pick what they want, and my friend had a party up there one year where she put a pot on to boil, and when you wanted corn, you went out into the field, picked an ear or two, shucked it, and threw it in the pot to cook. It's like eating pure sugar, and is amazing.

I hope you do grow the corn, and have it be just as tasty as I remember.
