I was wondering if you could help me figure out the personal income taxes implications when working and living in different states?I will be working out of San Francisco in the near future, but will have apartments in both SF and Chicago. If my employer has offices in both cities, can I have my home address listed as Chicago to take advantage of the lower state income tax? Are there a certain amount of days that I must work in Illinois to make this happen? How many years can I continue filing in this manner?
