Worst President in history. Just for the record, the first time "worst President" showed up on the Motley Fool boards about Bush was in 2004, a full four years after he took office.http://tinyurl.com/d9jdthYou might want to note that the description came after there was actual evidence, years worth, rather than the one week you have given Obama.Did Obama send anyone? Heck no.Actually yes. Apparently you do not know how to find these things out. No wonder you are so often wrong.Everyone is wondering where the US presence is. No, no one is wondering that at all. The International Herald Tribune managed to find out last Sunday about it.WASHINGTON: Senior White House aide Valerie Jarrett will represent U.S. President Barack Obama at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland this week, a U.S. official said on Sunday.http://www.iht.com/articles/reuters/2009/01/25/business/OUKB...The Washington Post had the story three days before that:http://voices.washingtonpost.com/44/2009/01/23/jarrett_will_...Not so hard to find. But then you have to actually try before spewing your spew. It's a different concept for you, it's called "being informed."Incidentally, it's not unusual at all for government heads of state not to attend. Relatively few do each year, generally to give some sort of speech. In the 38 year history of the event, for instance, the Chinese Premiere has never attended until this year. This year 96 countries have someone in attendance. Less than half are represented by the head of that government.I'm sure Obama could learn a lot from the Michael Dell who will be there, all the better to be somewhere, anywhere else as his company lays off tens of thousands of workers. And since the President of Senegal and the Prime Minister of Albania will be there, perhaps they have some tips for Obama on managing the global economy? The head of Lloyds is scheduled to attend, convenient as his company teeters on the brink of being nationalized. And there's even a slot reserved for John Thain, although its entirely possible Bank of America is having second thoughts about being represented by him, what with him being fired and all.Maybe it would be a good place for him to try to sell that $35,000 toilet, though, I have to admit. It's too bad we can't send you, what with your intimate understanding of the global economic system. That commode would never be put to better use.
