Hello. I appreciated your column on worthless stock, which, sadly, is relevant to me. I worked for a company and stupidly excercised my options via 83(b). I've now lost thousands. However, the company isn't dead, even though it laid off everyone and sold its assets (and still owes millions to creditors). They never gave me my stock certificates, and there is no one to ask. Also, the law firm refuses to do anything more for the company, since they themselves are owed a lot. So, I can't follow your four step plan. Any other suggestions? Thanks. \Steve
