Would it be possible for you to put any of these on a credit card, or do you think your credit is still good enough to open a low-interest credit card? Even if you pay interest while paying it down, IMO that's preferrable than having late bills effect your overall credit score if you can't pay $2,500 immediately. Well, I just have 2 Capital One Credit cards at 21% APR (ugh)I have been working on paying them down, I owe $4600.00 on one and $2200.00 on the other. Not sure why that interest rate is so high because I was never late. I don't want to use them either as I'm trying to get those paid off by end of 2013 or sooner. Frankly, don't think my credit is all that good to receive a low interest credit card right now. Thanks AJ, I will call the 2 hospitals and see what I can set up for a payment plan. All I can do at this point is try to make an arrangement to pay so much a month.
