Wall Street Journal had article reporting that paper money is one of the dirtiest things in our possession. Microbiologists found most of the common germs: staph, strep, e coli, food poisoning, and even pathogens.

And keeping money in a wallet in your hip pocket keeps it warm at just the right temperature: A near perfect incubator for germs.

How should you treat your paper money?

1. Handle only with gloves.
2. Sterilize with a steam iron.
3. Spray with Lysol
4. Wash in Clorox.
5. Spray with rubbing alcohol
6. Wash/disinfect hands frequently (after handling money)
7. Use only electronic money: debit card, PayPal, etc.
8. Let someone else pay the bills :)

Any other ideas?
