I've been following X-Rite for about two years. I was on the fence until they closed their merger with their largest competitor. Now I'm convinced this is the best time in the last couple years to consider investing.

Here's a recent story/favorable writeup about the company from MarketWatch:
Synopsis: X-Rite recently closed a huge merger with Amazys. This has set back near-term profitability. But the long-term value of the company is promising.

Also, here's my 60-second pitch from my CAPS writeup:
With the acquisition of Amazys behind them, X-Rite is the clear 800-lb. gorilla and should dominate every aspect of the color-management industry. Very reasonably priced at the moment, with insiders buying like crazy. Bridgeway Ultra Small Company fund has been buying shares, too. The acquisition also gives them a great, shareholder-friendly leader in Tom Vacchiano.

Anybody else out there see this as a potential Hidden-Gems-style investment?
