Ya hang around with smart, ya get smart.

In relating a memory to my 2nd eldest kid yesterday, this thought and resultant lesson reoccurred to me after many years.

I feel epitomizes the vast majority of discussion boards in The Fool neighborhood.

The vast majority of people in The Fool neighborhood.

SMART.

-------------

Figured this board and this thread was as good as any to point this out.

I spent a very short time here back in 2000.

Then, I decided to revisit and have remained since early last year. In this short time, there is no doubt that I have benefited in many ways on many levels having become a part of The Fool neighborhood. Hey, every village needs an idiot, right? I once heard the top rank for idiot is jester. That'd be cool. And, consider the irony and our name.

What's a neighborhood. People. Notably, the Fool has a much higher concentration of wise and often wonderful sharing souls. Wisdom. Ya gotta love it.

So, it would stand to reason -- Ya hang around with wise, ya get wise.

Damn, I hope so.

lookin' forward,
duey
