What say we on the Credit Card board get back to board basics - including being mutually helpful and respectful as we inform and support one another?

P.S. Deannda (TDMENEUF), thank you for your very heartfelt post about your experience with bankruptcy over on the Speakers Corner/Understanding Your Credit Report board. I learned a lot from it and appreciate the time you took to tell your story.

Excellent response here to that obvious bait from GregFisher. You are right, this board needs to get back to basics and the intent it was opened for. Helping each other.

You are welcome for my post. It took me awhile to get it the way I wanted it and I thought it was time to share. People need to know why the system is there, not to be abused but to be used to protect them.

When people abuse the bankruptcy system, it hurts all of us. Higher interest rates, increase in prices, the moeny that the credit card companies and other businesses lose is passed on to the rest of the consumers. It's not something to be played with and twisted around for anyone's personal gain.
