ybe just me but don't recall GNMA funds being this volatile in the past... Maybe all the crazyness affecting these funds somehow?Treasuries and Treasury funds are also volatile. A lot of this has to do with stock market volatility and people moving money in and out.Long term mortgage securities have seen yields up by about 5% over last month after falling more than that from 3 months ago.http://www.bloomberg.com/markets/rates/keyrates.htmlThe only real way to stay above volatility is to buy individual bonds and CDs and hold to maturity.
