So I have been a fool for only a few months and had already been working on this plan, but I couldn't help writing about my progress.

I left my marriage two years ago with the following debt:

Loan from mom $10000
MBNA $2000
Eddie Bauer $1700
Sears $3000
Sears Plus $2000
Golden 1 Visa $2400
Macy's $300
Student Loan $30000
Saturn Loan $10000

As of last week this is all I have left:

Loan from Mom $8000
Golden 1 Visa $2200
Student Loan $30000
Jeep $26000

Of course during this time I also got a Jeep Grand Cherokee and I just went into contract on a house. I plan on having the last two credit cards/personal loans paid off by the beginning of next year when I will then turn my attention to paying off the car and my $30K student loan!

I am so pleased with my progress and excited to be getting my first home.
