Yeah, but it does mean Darwinsim is false, just like technical analysis.

No, both are very good at explaining things after the fact.

It has been demonstrated time and again in numerous scientific studies that the only way to make money with TA is to write a book about it and sell it to the rubes.

I would like to point out to the community here that this guy believes in Technical Analysis and that he is one step removed from an astrologer or a practioner of Gematria (ooo, my head is so big today, all these obscure words come pouring out!).

Not really. Technical analysis is merely something I was giving a fair chance. I was pretty skeptical about many things going in, for instance, how does one tell the difference between a double hump and a triple hump?

Of course like any other betting system, it's made on the assumption that the cards will be dealt the same way eventually. So, short term movement is obviously unpredictable.

But, there is something to be said about comparing the price of a stock from one week to the next. Of course, here at the fool, they don't care about price...
