Yeah, there has to be a better way, but federal or state government participating in the medical business ain't it. Under Clinton, they tried to do way too much with Hillarycare, and that's why it failed. And they're trying to do too much now. The government should be the referee, not a competitor or participant. I'll grant you that the government does a very inadequate job of regulating the health care business, but that is its only proper role. The government needs to pass the right laws saying what you can and cannot do in the health care business, then it needs to effectively enforce the damn things. Government must not get involved itself, because anything government touches in this country, government screws up. There is nothing government does well in this country, so it must stay out of running anything and insead serve as referee.
