YEah...it's 26 miles from downtown Dallas to my house..and you now have to go another 15 miles to get to 'country' here.....

There is no easy escape from the 'metroplex' which is expanding outward a mile a year in just about every direction.

Of course, in Union county..once you go over the ridge, if you can make it in the winter time (the last time I was there it was snowing like the blazes at the top of the ridge).......you are away from things......
