Yeah...it's pretty ridiculous. My parents gave me all of their contracts over the weekend and these things are enormous. Most of it is to introduce fear to unknowing prey.

This guy also did an elaborate presentation...it's about 100 pages long of tables and charts. These charts seem to me nothing more than a ploy to introduce even more fear. I wish I had soft copies of all of these. Essentially they look at assets and recommend a strategy. When I've finished my review I will post the results under the "parents burned" title.

This "financial advisor" is also supposed to send me a "detailed" explanation of why he moved their SEP-IRA's into the annuity. This should be very educational.
