Years ago I volunteered at a vet clinic. To my knowledge, a feral cat does not imply that he was once domesticated... feral cats are very hard to turn domestic when found older. But if you find them younger... say under 9 months... you may have a chance at gaining their trust. Normally, they will learn to trust their owner, but shy away from everyone else. Good job on the kittens!
