Yes, and it is preferred not to reveal to the competition what credit limit gets assigned to a person with a certain credit profile.I don't really believe that for a second. Basically every other company does it. I have a hard time believing that Cap One has some extra secrets that no one else does. I find it much easier to believe that they're just sketchier.
