Well, I half expect to be tarred and feathered for saying this, but I took the leap and bought the Cayman. Definitely an implusive/emotional decision, not a rational one. DW and I flew up to Memphis on Tuesday, bought it, and drove it to my sister's for Thanksgiving, then back to S. Florida. Nothing like a 1200 mile road trip to get the feel for your new car, eh?

The car is pretty amazing. Power, looks, handling, you name it, this car has it in spades. It is an absolute hoot to drive. I'm not driving it anywhere near its full potential, but this may be the fastest thing I've ever sat in - 460hp and just 3000lbs.

Oh, and milligram45, I have reserved your position as first in line to say "I told you so" when the big repair bills hit. ;)
