Yes, if you are convinced that interest rates have peaked, its a good time to buy mutual funds that invest in fixed income securities. Declining interest rates should cause NAVs to rise giving you good prospects for capital gains in addition to interest income.Of course, the same should be true for stocks. And they should rise faster and by greater percentages, but with somewhat higher risks.
