Yes! My husband and I, along with our 2 cats (who function as muses) run an advertising/marketing business out of our home (in other words, we've broken all the rules and defied convention). I started the biz 19 years ago, he joined it 12 years ago (we've been married for 24 years). Everyone expresses amazement that we can do this, but it works (pretty darn well) for us. Nice to hear there are other people out there who can be with each other 24 hours a day and survive (even thrive). Our key is having "areas of domain"--he rules when it comes to words and computers; I rule when it comes to strategy and client contact. We are very vocal (intense is another way to put it) but hold no grudges--it's just our style. Sure beats holding down a 9 to 5 and having to make appointments to see each other, right??
