Bank of America Initiates coverage at Buy with target of $23.
KWK is now on the radar! Wonder how much more coverage there will be? Istitutions were buying yesterday. May be more today, and further coverage could push KWK even higher.

My question is, what causes people to intiate coverage, and what exactly does that mean?

I think it means to begin coverage on a certain stock. However I don't trust analysts anyway so it doesn't matter if they recommend it or not. I own Lucent as well and on one day one firm said reduce stake and another said buy. Can both of them be right? NO!!
