You are absolutely correct and I didn't intend to sound so harsh.

It's always hard to convey what you really mean with just written words. I didn't take it as harsh but only because I NEVER take anything as harsh unless someone specifically types in something like, "You're a BUTTHOLE!" which has happened more than once to me. LOL

ll, if one is going to make the transformation to a successful trader this is one of the "pearls" one needs to absorb. Don't average down.

I would say that this is one of those that I believe is variable depending on the trading style of the person. It's not one of the immutable rules of trading but one that MOST traders should go by. There are those who DO prosper using this technique however, mostly those who use FA alone or FA combine with TA.

There's almost always an exception to the rule in anything. ;)
