You ask why Dar. is better?,mostly they have very little competition and buying up the competition is their way of competing. They do have updated continuos rendering equipment which reduces their processing costs big time,a huge fleet of trucks picking up raw material, not by the barrel like in times past but in bulk pickups. whatever they don't service directly, they buy off the little guy who is willing to carry bbl's out of basements etc. But they do have something they shouldn't have a big black eye for a lot of skullduggery back in the 80's as reported in the Wall st. Journal basically chewing out the top mgmt. for taking large fees for who knew what..After they bought out Baker commodities a few years ago, nothing can stop them unless..they get insider greed going. Sometimes the past is prologue.
