You can begin by stopping all the self pity and excuses and actually take some of the advice given. Get your priorities straight and start accomplishing some milestones to get your ultimate goal.

It seems your primary goal is to move away from overbearing and needy parents. Honestly, if you weren't likely enabling their behavior you could probably accomplish this without moving out of state, but i get that it is easier to cut the cord when you are physically removed as well.

Moving to another state without a job, savings or earning history is not impossible, but getting a mortgage on a property given those circumstances is naive and unrealistic. You don't need to buy a house, you need a place to live. As a single person with a new job in a new city, do you really think home ownership is the right path or would renting a small apartment be more secure both physically and economically?

Once you have established a history of making money and know the area better you will be in a much better position to find an agent to help get property information as well as actually get qualified for a mortgage.
