You can't live without being exposed to microbes.

Indeed.

Add to that the concept of the microbes that are likely to harm you are probably not going to hang out on your cell phone or acquired from the depths of your pocket or handbag or belt clip etc. Even if they are, such virulent organisms aren't likely to be addressed by the wipe down measures described in the WSJ
