You forget that all 'school money' comes from tax payers
All govt money comes from citizens via taxes & bond purchases (and the federal printing press-), not just 'school money.' What makes you think I forgot that? I'm not only a taxpayer and bond buyer, but the year our stock options panned out, we had to pay the feds several hundred thou in taxes (most of the options were short term). Not exactly forgettable!

'education' is provided up through the 12th grade. After that, you have opportunities for higher education, that 'may' be subsidized by various government entities I don;t know anyone whose higher ed wasn;t subsidized by the govt in some way, if only by govt-guaranteed laons, even wealthy folks like my older brother and some Silicon Valley friends. And most scientific research is subsidized directly or indirectly by gov't grants, so the sciences are particular well covered.

for 10,000 years, folks have been paying for their own healthcare.
Yeah! Bring back herbs, roots & witch doctors! I like voodoo m'self--can blame my illness on someone I dislike or fear. An obvvious health care plan for Republicans, thanks for the lead ;-)

It wasn't until the 20th century that anyone even came up with the idea of 'health insurance'. I guess we must not have made it through the 10th through 20th centuries then?
Yeah! Bring on leeches for fevers, barbers for surgery, no anesthesia or antibiotics! You libertarians slay me! Let everyone be his own doctor and grow his own medical herbs! I had a wicked case of scarlet fever in 4th grade immediately followed my measles--buh-bye alstro!
