You guys are da bomb!

I hear you loud and clear on the issues, especially on co-signing which I was actually leaning against, anyway. Thanks for the unanimous input on the issue.

Unfortunately, these kids' parents have probably reinforced the "Bank of Aunt P" approach to money management. I've not given money in the past but have helped out with education expenses, laptops, etc.

I was tempted to go the approach of #3 but after your thoughtful input I'll not head down that path and, instead, consider potential alternative options via some of the suggestions that you provided.

Thanks, again.... I'm usually very logical and rationale in my decision-making (especially when it comes to money management)but felt that my perspective was waivering in this situation. You've stopped the emotional infuence and headed me back on the right path!
