You know what? After reading the threads over the past few days I think just about everyone on here needs to be p-boxed, I think maybe 5% of what's posted is actually useful information, the rest is nothing but immature, attacks. What's really sad is it's now to the point where no matter good the info is, no matter how right on it is or useful to someone it may be, it gets lost because someone will attack the person who posted it...this is no longer a board of information, it's all about who likes who and who hates who.

It IS a shame what's happened to this board, Kathy. I've kept up with this board for a long long time. And it was never remotely like this before CatherineCoy began posting. The very occasional bit of rankled friction was rare, and then finished and done.

CatherineCoy presents a problem. Her views and resources are often seriously faulty. Because this board revolves around health and nutrition, such errors have the potential for serious consequences. So--to be responsible about it, they should be pointed out. And she holds fast to faulty thinking and flawed resources, and continues to post prolifically.

But your friend has an exceedingly thin skin. She doesn't take kindly when inadequacies are pointed out, and prepares for battle with an "any tactic is fair" mentality. She also tends to insist on having the last word--which she periodically points out she will do, regardless.

She also admitted on another board that her sole motive toward me has been to do whatever she can to make me look wrong. I ask you--what kind of productive and mature focus is that?

And so this board has become contentious, and polarized -- as have the other health-related boards where I encounter her.

Then you come along and scold everyone--except your friend, who precipitated and continues this.

What's happened to this board is really a shame.
