You need to remember what type of card you have given the ATM. A credit card and my ATM card are similar. I have accidently tried to use a credit card in an ATM. The first statement is how much the bank is going to charge me for the transaction. After nearing fainting, I removed it and used the correct card.

If she is running close on money, it maybe better to use the credit card for transactions and conserve cash, rather than take a cash advance.
