You paid for the tax attorney's advice. Why are you not following it?

Because my gut tells me it's not correct. And because the tax attorney will be nowhere to be found if I get audited and have to redo tax returns for the business and all five members, possibly for multiple years. I have nothing written from him.

Did you discuss your additional research with him/her?

No. He charges over $300 per hour. And I've already received his opinion. Looking for others.
