You probably know as much as I do about the differences between the two. Digital allows much faster transmission speeds, which is key/critical as technology advances and systems become more "intensive". I don't see analog as dead or dying, it may become a secondary means of communications. (This will not happen for a LONG, LONG time, due to the world's current communications infrastructure. Just think about it... Every telephone in the world would have to be replaced, and that would just be a start) When/if it does become a secondary means of communications, someone, somewhere will probably "re-discover it", and it will be re-born, a lot like everyone thought TCPIP was "out" years ago, and now look at it.
