You probably want a discount broker. There are lots of them and most do a great job. I use Fidelity, but others use Scottrade, Ameritrade, Charles Schwab, etrade, and more.

You probably want to consider which offers the services you plan to use at best prices and with suitable convenience. Easy to use website, free research, phones to contact, a nearby office, etc.
